For those of you who have kids in public schools, please be informed. The link presented is a letter for teachers to prepare for Obama's speech specifically for students. It is an itinerary for before, during, and following the speech. During the speech, children will be encouraged to think about and take notes about what Obama is asking them to do. After the speech there will be discussion, including and not limited to what the president wants us (the students) to do, and whether they are able to do it. Teachers will then encourage their students to participate in their "I am what I learn" video contest and write letters to about what they can do to help the president. These letters will then be collected and redistributed at a later date to keep the children accountable to their goals.

For the recipients of this who home school, and have home schooled throughout your children's lives, I commend you more than words can say. You should be extremely proud, as I believe you are.
The next generation will decide the fate of this nation, and it's extremely important to know what our kids are being taught.
