If a friend or family member of yours was killed during the events that occurred on the morning of 9/11/01, I’ll bet you’d want to learn a little more about it. On November 27, 2002 the “9/11 Commission” was signed into existence. Shortly thereafter, another group united, calling themselves “The Family Steering Committee” for the Independent 9/11 Commission.
The Family Steering Committee (FSC) is an independent, nonpartisan group of individuals who lost loved ones on September 11, 2001. The FSC is not affiliated with any other group, nor does it receive financial or other support from any organization or individual. http://www.911independentcommission.org/
On July 22, 2004 the 9/11 Commission released its final report on the events that occurred. The FSC determined that only 30% of their questions had been answered, leaving 250 questions unanswered. This group of people who lost friends and family are doing something about it by taking legal action. They have started a petition that would reopen the investigation, with a committee free from government control. So far, there have been OVER 70,000 NEY YORK RESIDENTS WHO HAVE SIGNED THE PETITION.
